These things can simply just happern over time. Drivers can become degraded and corrupt over time from being loaded over and over. Good luck!

Remember, when removing video drivers and reinstalling them, sometimes on the first boot after the reinstall, you may notice when scrolling webpages it can be choppy. The fix for this is simple, one more reboot.
Good luck and keep me posted.

Google those. They can be found on a site called Tweakforce. I have never had any problems with any of their driver suites.

Interesting... The shader model of that card is 4.1. It shouldn't be havign this issue.
My advice to you, would be to remove your video card drivers completely and reinstall your card using the latest Catalyst suite. Or, like myself, I prefer third party drivers. I was having issues playing Half Life 2, so I removed ATI's drivers and grabbed a very popular suite used by many called XG Catalyst XP Drivers, or if you have Vista or 7 you can grab the XG Catalyst Vista/Win7 Drivers.
