  • This is all overkill. I'll take one monophonic analog synth and some talent for creating organic textures and melody over this.

  • Its too expensive :( plus im thinkin ppls computers would crash with the size of the thing :)....

  • Omnishere is a great piece of software but, really. To make that sound do you really needed to record sound off of a light bulb? I don't think so

  • @nyran125 I'm running 3gig RAM and 2.1ghz dual processor and it handles 5 seperate Omnisphere lanes with no problem

  • You can use any keyboard with it that has USB out to plug it into your laptop dont know about midi in on laptops or desktops. Omnisphere will only use one CPU it needs a very fast CPU something that is no older than 2 yrs old and was top of the range. If you Open up Omnisphere 4 times within a daw each Omnisphere will run on its own CPU core.

  • there are ways to lower the usage..

  • does it have a trancegate and a arpeggiator

  • so could I use any synth with it as long as its got mide like say a microkorg?
