Standing start to top speed run. No sound because I did this with a camera that had no audio. I didn't get much of a launch or I could have done a little quicker than I did. Many more mods are on the way in the coming years, basically all that can be done to a V6. Stay tuned for a new speedo video once I have a new camera and enough new mods to justify it.

  • Im sorry but im not buying a sports car with no less than 8 cylinders

  • @cowboyTY42 and I don't suppose those 13 second Supras with their straight 6s would interest you, or even a 13 second RX-7 with ZERO cylinders. I guess that car would be the Cardinal sin to you.

  • drc1981, thank you for swatting away a buzzing fly that was becoming a real nuisance.

  • "Ya'll" might consider getting a f____g education. I'll make an agreement with you; if you can post one entirely complete, correctly formed, appropriately worded sentence as a reply to me, I'll never bother you again.

  • @gm7add11 Good eye there; I think the guy has made himself look bad enough without any more commentary from us though.

  • @Locruid My bad; I just realized which comment of mine you were referring to; If you don't think the new '11 V6 Mustangs can run 13s, you need to go look at Motor Trend and Car and Driver's test results; they both run 13.7 with them; I've driven them myself sir and I can assure you they have a bigger pushback than any pre 2005 Mustang GT from the factory with the exception of a Terminator Cobra and a 2000 Cobra R. I'll gladly give you more links if you still think I'm inflating anything.

  • @Locruid Quite the contrary actually; You should look at some other 'stang videos besides mine; Many guys have pushed 500+ rwhp on these V6s with turbo kits and built motors, usually 4.3s; Rare, yes, but certainly doable, and not inflated by any means.

  • @drc1981 13 sec V6 Mustang LOL. Those numbers are inflated I guarantee you. Are they quick? O yea. Are they 13 sec quick? Hell no.

  • @cowboyTY42 So by your logic you'd rather have a 15 second quarter mile V8 Mustang GT from the mid 90s than a new 13 second V6 Mustang. Ah well, unfortunately for you sir I"m not going to pay attention to what car you end up buying. Chao.

  • @XSoulscarz53X Is yours an auto? any mods? I noticed a huge difference in my acceleration just from the cold air intake and exhaust work; And yea mine is still governed too; I'm buying a new SCT tuner this summer and shutting off the governor so I can see just what it can do. Like you said, I'm guessing 130, give or take. Have to put new tires on it before I try that speed though, haha

  • my 2000 v6 mustang definitly accelerates slower but the top speed would be much higher if it wasnt for the govner. when its at 117 mph it stops at 3500 rpms. i think i can get to 130 mph if i had the govner reprogrammed and had tires for that speed

  • I'm back in the country again (damn consulates!!) so I will be back to the mods later this spring. I plan to install an HID headlight kit in April and window tints. More vids coming when I have something to tape.
