http://www.reason101.net proudly introduces The Pureffects ReFill for Propellerhead Reason 6. This is an effects-only ReFill which is not genre-specific, and instead provides a wide variety of presets well suited for Drums, Loops, Pads, Synths, Basses, Guitars, and all other audio.
With over 1,000 single effect device patches and 200 Combinators, Pureffects provides some of the most unique and powerful audio effect processing on the market. From subtle warm compression to distorted chaotic feedback oblivion—and everything in between, Pureffects contains the power to completely reshape any sound you throw at it.
In addition, several of the Combinators are built to take your "live sets" to a whole new level. Use your keyboard or pad controller to play the effects "live" and create your own effect chain sequences with the press of a few keys or pads. Everything is pre-built to take full advantage of all the effect devices that Reason provides, with a heavy focus on the 3 new Reason 6 effect devices.
What's included in the ReFill?
- 200 Combinators (135 unique effect patches and 65 keyboard-controlled & Kong pad-controlled effect patches)
- 200 Pulveriser patches
- 200 The Echo patches
- 200 Alligator patches
- 108 Scream patches
- 100 RV7000 patches
- 242 Line 6 Amp patches
- 34-page PDF User Guide, outlining some of the more complex Combinator patches
Here, I'm going to showcase some of the various Combinators that are built to house multiple effects. You can set up a track for the Combinator and Kong in your sequencer, and use your Keyboard or Pad Controller to play complex effect chains. Bypass any of the stops along the chain, as well as individual volume settings for each effect in the chain create a highly interactive environment to build up interesting effect combinations. Randomize the bypasses or the effects themselves, or both. A great addition for your "Live" sets.

at first this all sounded very convoluted. But as he demoed the effects i realize this is best used in a live application. or for making music with a live kind of feel. this is pretty dope. thinking about picking this up. i'm sure i can figure this out myself, but this guy has already done it for me hahaha nice.

@AgentMerk Well actually it can be used both "live" and "in the studio" - it's really totally up to you. You could set up an effect you really like, then use only that effect on any audio track you wish as an insert, or you can load it up and play the effects "live" - I wanted to make it as flexible as possible to use. And beyond that, you have all the individual effects included in the refill as well. Again, more flexibility in how you use it.

@Phisequence yeah I think I hinted at that in my first comment but wasn't clear. Been playing with it for a week or so off and on. Very impressive work my friend! Thanks so much. It is really appreciated!

@AgentMerk Well I'm glad you are enjoying the ReFill. And I'm sure most people can figure it out. But in the event you still have some questions, the PDF should answer most of them. And if not, I'm right here. So don't be shy. ;-) Thanks for your support and comments.

This is crazy. Basically you can program anything in reason to trigger almost anything else. Thank you so much!

@whoddaya Well yah you can. That's half the power of Reason and why I keep using it. Without CV or Audio Routing, the program would be extremely limited... at least for me, and I'm sure for others as well.
