@TSAmelia ...How does that mean he was? Lots of people bite their lips and close their eyes in certain situations. It doesn't HAVE to mean he was paying homage to Green Day.

The only objection I have to this song is the line "bite my lip and close my eyes." He is obviously paying homage to Green Day, but it doesn't really make sense with the rest of the song.

I remember I discovered this song back in 7th or 8th grade and man, I've loved this song ever since. This song still makes me smile.
