I have a GOLD color 406 '98. It is a 2.1 Turbo Diesel Manual, and I can tell you this: COMFORT? 10 OUT OF 10; POWER? Accelerates up a 25% incline hill in 3rd gear with 5 people in the car, HAS HEAPS OF TORQUE; FUEL ECONOMY? 6-8Liters/100km, depends on where and how you use it. It already has 310,000kms in it and it just keeps going. The build quality of this car and the parts quality is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember the first time I saw this when I must have been 13, it took up the whole advert break, no other adverts were played! One of the best adverts ever IMO, and the 406 V6 i used to have was the best car I've owned, was even built pretty solidly, thirsty though...

Brilliant!!! Just bought one of these cars last week! Awesome ad, exquisite stuff, now I can stand tall among the V8 driving gutter trash.
