Vancouver Riots 2011: Fans rage as Canucks lose Stanley Cup

Canadians are known for being polite while Vancouver is famous for being a beautiful city. But there is a dark side -- hockey.

Hockey has long been a way for Canadians to release their pent-up anger. Some packed gas masks to the Stanley Cup finals between the Canucks and the Boston Bruins.

And when the Canucks lost 4-0, some fans began a 4-hour orgy of rioting and looting...

As the fans ran amok, they paused to pose for photos and to perform stunts.

The next day, Canadians were out on the streets again cleaning up the mess. Peace and order prevails again in Canada... until the next hockey game.

Detroit World Series riots 1984 the LA Lakers riots in 2000, 2009 and again! in 2010, the Denver Bronco`s 1998 riot, Patriots riots in 2004, the Red Sox 2004 riot and another riot for the Boston Celtics in 2008. Funny thing is all these riots came after all of those teams WON! the last riot I can remember in Canada before Vancouver was the 93 Canadiens, Canada doesn`t have a history of rioting, the US on the other hand...
