Ian Gillan is in a great mood here.
It is one of the shows around 1987/'88 in which he was able to hit the most of the highest notes. Many people think he wasn't able to sing it after the Deep Purple reunion 1984 but as you can hear around 2:37 he was.
One of the greatest singers in Rock Music history!
It seems that Gillan's voice is hardly the same, because at the time aged 42, he had held and still see this peak, after the band's return from "Perfect Strangers" released in 1984!
