I've always been in love with the bass, even more so after first seeing Meshell Ndegeocello perform. So finally I bought one and learning to play is one of my goals for this year. After owning the bass for only a few days I really wanted to try to play, even though my skills were so limited. I chose a song with few changes, but I still asked my bass player to be there in case I messed up. So this is by no means a virtuoso performance - just me having fun with an instrument and a song I love. Hopefully in the future I will get those lessons and make Meshell proud. In the meantime, enjoy... ************
