Lightsaber Duel - Ed vs Ed

It started out as a proof-of-concept. Sure, many other people have already perfected the art of cloning via compositing, but I hadn't done it yet.

This film was done 100% by me. No additional hands to help with cameras, props partially in frame, or anything of the sort. It also had very little in the way of planning. I used my spare time over about 5 or 6 days to throw this together.

I wanted to make the video longer but didn't have more time to work on it. I may revisit it eventually.

ok um although the idea is funny and the effects are good, his combat styles were, for lack of a better word, retarded. your not supposed to wield a single-hilt like a spear. sorry but just cause of that this video is a flop

@DANMAN51398OMEG It should go without saying that all lightsaber combat is fantasy / theatrical combat to begin with. However, lightsabers are proportioned like historical European longswords, or katanas, which are used primarily with two hands, and whose combat styles generally take advantage of the reach afforded by them.

@NecroBones Yes, that's exactly the point. Simply because your weapon is already so long, you don't need to hold your arms out stretched. Have you ever seen so. fighting with a Katana? It looks completely different. The arms are often bent and the Katana gets swung closely to the body.

@NecroBones Agreed, many believe that the saber is not suppose to be wielded like such a way, many hold it one handed and two handed and yet many do not know that Mr.George Lucas took the idea from fencing and japanese sword fighting, even darth maul's double saber was taken from Japan Naginata. I like the video and it is not easy making such a video. Very well done honestly.
