Steven Jackson 2009 Tribute

A 2009 seasonal highlight of Saint Louis Rams' runningback Steven Jackson. The Rams won one game that season but his efforts on the field will never be forgotten.

Hopefully the Rams can repay him for his tremendous heart and dedication to this team and the game.

@monteriojones Barber runs in a very similar style, no way to say one break more tackles. And Jackson's bigger. What we know now is that Barber is no longer a prime back. Jackson it looks like is slowly wearing down but not the dramatic falloff in production of Barber.

Losing a step almost inevitable now, having been ground down over the years with too many carries and nothing else on offense to take the focus off of him.

no running back can compare to Steven Jackson. he is the only legit offensive threat for the rams and that means every play the defense is goin to key in on number 39 and stack the box to stop the run. he had terrible pain in his back for the entire 2nd half of the season and played through it. he did miss one game but he still led the NFC in rushing. what Steven Jackson has done over the past 4 or 5 years is amazing. and the effort he gives despite lacking talent around him goes unmatched......
