Waltham Forest College located in Walthamstow, North-East London enrols around 10,000+ students (both 14-19 year olds and adults) a year.
As a foreign student you can combine language studies with vocational options, or study together with UK students on lots of career courses from the College's mainstream programme. The main curriculum areas are; Catering, Travel and Tourism, Engineering, Auto-Engineering, Hair and Beauty, Childcare, Public Services, Art, Media, Fashion, ESOL, Business and ICT.
It also provides training in a wide range of vocational areas. Part of the shared national agenda for education is to improve skills, raise standards and increase productivity, efficiency and competitiveness by providing the training and qualifications that employers and their workforce require.
Waltham Forest College celebrated its 70th birthday in September 2008 and several events were enjoyed to mark the occasion.
