Baten Kaitos Origins Speedrun - Segment 56

Ugh. Just ugh.

This segment probably took the most time out of any so far. Not only do I have to slug through 7 minutes of button mashing before every attempt, but Guillo has the potential to kill me in just one (1) combo.
This is my first sub 3 fight in two weeks of attempts, and Im happy with it. I actually didnt do nearly as well as I have on other fights, but his pattern was so good that it didnt matter.
Heavenlapse is so overpowered, and he luckily did not use it this time (which is probably why I won so fast). It can hit up to 2700 damage on its own, and I have 3168 combined HP. If everybody isnt at full HP, I usually die. Add a combo to the start, doing 500-1200 damage, and it instantly kills my whole party no matter what.
Fellstar Gleam is also very deadly (instantly killing whoever it targets), but it has two positives. First of all, it burns Guillos MP to help prevent a heavenlapse. Secondly, it is awesome (FLY! FLAIL! AND SLAUGHTER!). Unfortunately, the game glitched in this run and only said fly.
Even Guillos normal combos can OHKO someone on occasion. He just hardly ever does minor damage.
Anyways, as I said, this is a ridiculously hard segment, and sub 3 is a great time. I would like to say farewell to True Heavens Glacier, we will all miss your pure power. But hello Apotheosis.

since you started the speed run I knew the 2 points of the game that were critical were the holoholo bird and this.

I take off my hat to you, sir. Nicely done and I'm jealous of your patience, two weeks of attemps with 7 minutes of button mashing before the fight and with the posibility of getting owned in the first turn by heavenlapse, I would have probably given up LOL.

Oh, there are definitely a few more trouble spots. Baelheit comes to mind: tons of cutscenes and two fights in a row. Plus, Hellfire is even more powerful than Heavenlapse (even factoring in additional levels). I'm stocking up on mountain apples before that fight, even if it requires backtracking out of Tarazed, since it took me an eniter afternoon of playing to beat both fights at low level, even using the retry button.

The final boss will also probably cause me a bit of trouble,
