I've tried to destroy the devil's snare like thousand times but it always grows back. Hermione, Ron and Colin don't seem to help me. I can't go on with my game. HELP!

OMFG you can climb up with one bench! argh!!!! thank you so much for this, it'sbeen driving me mad, almost gave up! read the cheats, but couldn't for the life of me work out what to do

Are you sure you placed the bench correctly? As close to the wall as possible.

There are 5 belongings, wich you can find here:
* To the mid right of the Entrance Courtyard, take the broom and sweep up a pile of leaves.
* On the middle table in the Great Hall.
* Near the Viaduct Entrance.
* In front on the fountain in the Clock Courtyard.
* On the Library table.
