Sup everyone. So, I thought I'd show you a quick vid on Maelstrom Shatter since, I bet you're wondering if the Maelstrom Shatter is worth it and to be honest, all you need to know is some simple math which I'll show you later.

First, head to the Enchanting trainer and learn Maelstrom Shatter. Then, get some Maelstrom Crystals from the Auction House or do a WTB in trade for a bulk purchase. I went and bought mine off the Auction House Tuesday and Wednesday since those are the days the market will be flooded due to the influx of gear people tend to get on those days. I was able to get 55 which I'll shatter right now. Each Maelstrom Crystal cost an average of 87 gold each. Not too bad but prices are going to continue to rise on Maelstrom Crystals which means timing will be everything. Weekends and Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the days you really want to look at and ask to buy in bulk in trade since some guilds will once in awhile look to dump their stock fast....

Are heavenly shards in as high a demand as Maelstrom Crystals? Because I don't want to risk shattering my maelstroms if my heavenly shards aren't going to sell.

@Beazt203 - Rares are truly rare when you think about it which is why there isn't enough of Heavenly Shards going around. Lots of Enchants ask for them as well. Maelstrom Crystals on the other hand, are in high supply with all DE's happening in instances. Raids/Dungeons that are mostly being run only drop epics which is why the price was cheaper for Maelstrom Crystals on most servers before the patch. Shatter is the only reason they increased. I'm tired but I hope that makes sense?

ima chanter should i be needing any gear that drops in randoms like green crap cause its my profession for farmn de matts? should i just hit disenchant and let it luck out i meant i dont follow them and roll need there herbs or ore. i feel like its messed up to need on it but do other chanters roll like that wutdoya say?
