Twighlight I'll give merits for becoming a popular book practically over night but Harry Potter Has fans devoted to defending the books as well as the movies... I am one of the HP fans.

i was so disopointid basicly al it was was a crapy love story with like 3 action scenes

it just lacked any intensity or explosiveness. It did set up the last movie well; the rest of the movie built up to a great finale, but the end turned out quite lame.

As Stephen King said:

"Both Rowling and Meyer, they're speaking directly to young people... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."

To me, Twilight is a book targeted exclusively towards young girls (ages 10~16). The series is not as epic nor as brilliant as Harry Potter. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON PERIOD. To compare the two series is a serious insult.
