This video was made for the UCI 24 Hour Mad Film Dash. We were given 3 genres to choose from (Superheroes, Drama, Music Video) and we choose Music Video. We had to incorporate a reusable bag, a reference to the UCI Bookstore, and the line "There's more to it than that". The idea, location finding, filming, and editing were all done in 24 hours.

  • i loved the lighting and aesthetics. where did u guys film this?

  • @MissingNoTrio It was filmed at 3 locations around UCI. The white hall way is a public bathroom in University Center. The locker area is underneath meas commons. The industrial looking area is a small near a loading dock and some dumpsters that is located behind Donald Bren Hall. All the shots were lit with red and blue light bulbs that I have back in my room and we used desk lamps to light the rest. The lights + Extension cords + other equipment = a lot to carry.

  • Daang. Were you guys the team with the H1? And you guys had track/skates too?

    Awesome!

  • @Tsunami939 We shot everything on a Canon 7D. We did use a home made dolly on a track. Thanks for watching!

  • @Tsunami939 I just googled a DIY dolly. Its a 2ft x 4ft piece of plywood, with 16 skateboard wheels, and it runs on PVC pipes as the tracks. It was about 200 to build (the cost was high because of the wheels and bearings) but it was still way cheaper than buying or even renting one.

  • @scaughtyphoto How did you make the dolly? It looks super legit.

  • Nice job, I love the scene with the wall and the slow pan that reveals the two girls

  • bwhahahahahaha!

  • haha oh jess & jaclyn..you two make me laugh :D
