@Styme2002 Oh, I know! WCW could've done great, if they didn't care about beating Vince. I saw in the DVD (Rise & Fall of WCW) that Eric told J.J. Dillon "What can I do to beat Vince?" That was the downfall!

@CadillacL i lived in biloxi, ms from 77-84 then bossier city from 84-87 and i can remember going to the house shows as well...i was watching RAW tonight and WRESTLING doesn't come in the picture anymore...i know it had to at least been an hour combined of nothing of wrestlers/actors standing in the middle of the ring yapping like a bad high school drama play about nothing..the rest of the show, i'm telling you they need to call it WKE (world kicking entertainment) becuz that's all they do now

@Styme2002 I couldn't have said it better. Neither TNA/WWE are concerned about wrestling. I WILL say that i"m shocked that WWE is using the word wrestling again. I'm from Shreveport so Mid-South was right here, I went to LOTS of the house shows. Loved Georgia & Mid-South. Wrestling, as we remember is dead. Nobody seems to care to keep the traditon.

@CadillacL it seems like it's just getting worse and worse...now TNA is no longer total nonstop action...may as well be called impact soapnet wrestling...i was a fan of wcw because they were basically a combination of georgiaship wresling, southeastern, world class and mid-south wrestling then they wanted to try to be like the WWF/WWE because they were concern more about appealing the maintstream instead of the given the wrestling fans what we deserve...WRESTLING...what we have out now...a joke
