Barack Obama's Friends

I would dump "friends" like these. Especially if I were a career-minded politician. He should know better.

You've got to have solid friends, not shady characters that can get your short term goals fulfilled. Then all you are is another Clinton.

Tony Rezko - Friend and campaign fundraiser. Shady business dealings, now indicted by a federal prosecutor.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright - Friend and Pastor. Church leader who preaches Black serparatism and racism. Good friend and praiser of Louis Farrakhan.

William Ayers - Friend, campaign donor, Democratic enabler, and Liberal comrade. Unrepentant former member of the "Weatherman," a domestic terrorist group, linked to bombings and some deaths.

Bernardine Dohrn - Friend, campaign donor, Democratic enabler, and Liberal comrade. Wife of William Ayers and co-conspirator in the "Weatherman" group.

And the list goes on.....

This guy may be a nice fella, he may even be a good Senator. But he's far from Presidential material. You must be a leader. Being a leader means you must take a firm stand on the issues and on people. You can't equivocate the fact that a friend did something horrible 40 years ago and so it doesn't matter and it doesn't reflect on your character. IT DOES! Especially considering that these two hate-filled anti-American terrorists do not show remorse or regret for their actions.

If my friends were Timothy McVeigh (if still alive) and Ted Kaczynski (the Unabomber), THAT WOULD REFLECT DIRECTLY ON MY CHARACTER. I could rationalize that their crimes happened many years ago, and that I had no hand in their actions, and I don't agree with their actions, but my relationship with them speaks volumes about who I am.

You've got to show better judgement than this, Senator!!
