i lovelovelove this duet! what i think is amazing is how Marla Schaffel can sing a song of this style (middle/high belting) as well as "secret soul" which requires quite a low range. thank you for posting!!

YAY! i'm part of the ensemble(which sounds lame, but we actually like, narrate the story) anyhoos, this is wonderful. it makes me happy. oh, and i LOVE bertha Mason's 'ahhs' in this song

Gritty in the figurative sense: "Resolute and courageous". Not in the literal sense of "covered with grit", LOL. Although after wandering around Morton and the moors for so long, she wouldn't exactly have been squeaky clean. :DDD
