Fortunately I've only done this twice. The second time, the first date I figured I was totally gay when the kissing was awkward and boring and when I couldn't focus on Tron because I was practically crying and my mind was screaming at me that I was gay and was dating a dude through the whole movie and the feeling of wanting to crawl in a hole and die.
