I don't know if you ever stopped to think about it. But here in Brazil, most of movies at the afternoon programs are American films about a dog or a monkey who makes the life of someone better, the children get happier because of them, their basketball or baseball teams become better because the monkey/dog/cat... saved their day.

Curiously, there are a little movies or no films where a black guy, a latino... makes the life of the white children, teen or adult better.
