  • the lighting kind of has more of a blue tone to it... I think it would work better if you had a yellow lamp or some kind of a bulb that had some yellow undertone to it. That would warm up the colors on your face. I appreciate the review, though - a lot of elf products are either hit or miss. Seems to be that this was a miss completely!

  • @erinpickering Hmm, a buld with yellow undertones just wouldn't show the colours as true as a daylight bulb. I've used a yellower bulb before and the effect just isn't good. I am planning on getting some cream fabric as soon as I can get to a fabric shop which might solve the hrsh lighting issue.

  • It would be nice to see you in front of a colourful background of some sort - I find the white wall a bit harsh Everything else is great! Very helpful as always. .

  • @GreenDani18 This was just to see if it worked :) What colour would you suggest? I agree the white is a bit harsh but I'm not sure what colour would work. Maybe cream fabric would soften the look. I don't have a fabric shop nearby so I'll have to wait before getting some new background.

  • i shall try the Milani pencil first then, thanks for the review. This is a nice set up :)

  • @pinkblackwitch Thanks! I think I've got a couple of Milani liners to review.

  • I have tryed the e.l.f waterproof eyeliner pen, and made a review of it, and a few other e.l.f cosmetics, and I had great luck with the eyeliner pen, & also some of the e.l.f. Studio Brushes. Not sure if you are interested in any of that or not, but if so, I'd love for you to check out my channel, and my review(s). Feel free to comment/suggest/subscribe. :) THANKS AGAIN<3

  • I like your review, I found it to be helplful, I live i the U.S, so I do have access to manny different cosmetics, & brands. I'm sorry to hear that you havent been so fortunate where you are... But anyways, I've just recently been trying some of the "e.l.f" Makeup Brushes, and have tryed a few of there cosmetics. I almost purchaced the Black, e.l.f Mineral Eye liner tonight, and now after watching your review Im not dissapointed that I didn't get it. lol Thanks so much! Great Job<3 -blondie6490

  • @Sirvinya I think something like cream/ very pale would be best; if you use a stronger colour it might mess with the colour balance on your camera and/or detract the attention away from you! :)

  • @Sirvinya Oh of course, it was a trial I know, and I hope you didn't feel you had to go and buy a metre of fabric instantly, lol, just wait for the January sales for that. I actually see a bit of muslin or a creamy fabric like you say just to offset the stark area or even a fun poster to jazz it up a bit. All the best xx.

  • @Ashmoe418 Thanks!

  • @goldfishblowfish Thanks!
