How difficult to convert a y frame mtn bike to this? If you have the mountain bike and converstion kit, that's all you need? How much time to complete the conversion? thanks

Cool! Looks like great fun and and I can imagine this with a road pack for those week-long rides. Wonder if a SA8 hub would work with the Cruz kit?

No reason why it couldn't work with the SA8. There are several people thinking of doing that mod, including me.
Just have to add a chain tensioner because the dropout will be vertical relative to the chainring.
