DIY: MK4 vw VR6 intake manifold shiftrod install

Notice! I am not liable if you hurt/kill yourself or damage your car in anyway. this is just a diy on how to put GRUVEN bushing on the intake manifold shift rod. put everything back the same way you took it off sorry camera died. But its enough to show you how to get it out and put it back in. its best to take the back side that i was taking off before the camera died just to make sure the seal is still in there. the shift rod needs to be placed at the 8 o clock position.

Love the video.. Thanks.. So i have a question.. I have an mk4 Gti i just bought. Yes it has an Vr6. I just bought an Short Throw Shifter, But no paper work on how to install it...... Is it easy??

does the bushings are supposed to be tightening the shift rod?, or they're supposed to be lossen? , thanks for the video

Does a 1996 GTI Vr6 have a shifter rod, because I've been looking at it and makes the same sound around 3k-4k but I dont know where it's placed in my engine and I called a vw parts store and they dont know how to look for it.
