  • non of the THREE not TWO hypothes really apply.

God did not do this. We did! Why blame God for our lack of care.

All this happens because we fail to love. If we love as God has asked to love Him and our fellow human beings then non of this would have happend.

You cannot even blame God for natural disatsers, these happen as a consequence of our selfish attiude to the environment.

Freaks of nature happen we die in them, this is accidental like one tripping over a folded cartpet edge.

  • you are right, its always man who fails and does wrong things.

And God´s mercy is needed to bring mankind out of this vicious circle

greetings, may God always bless and shelter you

  • great music, thank you for posting.

But looking at the video I just see two hypothesis :

    - god never visited earth

    - he visited earth but just didn't care

    - there is no god at all and we all must fight hard to get things better.

Personally, I think the third one is the good hypothesis.

  • its your right to think that way.

But history, especially european history, proves that especially the third hypothesis does not work.

All claims based on this hypothesis led to more more pain and suffering.

    greetings

  • Marvelous.

Compassion and love for all beings.

Such a good music of HVB...

  • greetings and blessings to you

  • @ dellerbasalvtore. I wouldn't worry about what 711 says. He can't even spell a three letter word correctly.

  • @dellerbasalvtore oyu are an idiot.

  • I thought I ought to elaborate a bit on the poem I wrote. I believe that a relationship with God is precisely that; a relationship. Teresa writes some pretty heady stuff about God. I know that, in Western culture, a man writing about his love for God in the masculine gender may seem peculiar. Still, when God's love completely takes one over, well... one is overwhelmed, and only words that speak of complete consumption will do,and even those cannot articulate the knowing of God's hand.

  • Dear Daniel, Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my posting. The verse I posted is not by Hildegarde. I wrote it for a poetry class at a Catholic university. I was a Benedictine monk for several years and have for years been inspired by St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. The poem is a prayer written in the style of the songs of King David, also known as the Psalms. BTW, I love"O mio babbino caro". You have an unusual and lovely web page.

  • @goodcatholicboy Hello Friend, I just wanted to thank you for posting these verses. They truly ravish the soul. What a blessing to even be able to read such words. I wanted to ask you if these lyrics actually belong to this album or if they are samples of her writing, and if so can you suggest a particular collection or translation? Thank you so much! Daniel

  • Yes, my G*d, take me-

    draw me close-

breathe me in, O my G*d,

and take me as the groom takes His bride,

and I will be Yours for all my days. Amen.

  • the hush that is Your desire-

the calm that is the holy temptation of Your embrace,

the stillness that is the agonizing ecstasy of Your arms

    and the burning love,

the passion that is the whisper of Your sweet breath upon my face.

In all their majesty, they will remind me...

    that I am Your child,

a small reminder of Your light in the vastness of the world.

  • As You sow Your love in my garden, let me keep custody of my eyes-

that they may flee from anything that is not Your face,

my empty countenance escaping into the world,

    only filth, mere expression ,

lost to the four winds all too quickly.

You will vanquish the emptiness of my desire,

the desert that lives inside my heart, my soul, then You will brand Your mighty name upon the heart of my heart,

and the blood of my blood,

and I will know Your Power-

  • by them am I cradled in the joy of the everlasting. You are every corner of the world, You! You, O my Life! You will protect me, You will always give me strength so that I may guard my tongue, so that it may not sing of any love of mine which is not You. Even all my sorrow- the smallest longing of my sadness- the anguish that are my tears- the bitter vinegar that is the anger of my will- these, each one, by the kiss of Your love, You will raze to the earth.
  • Praise You, O G*d, my G*d!

You are grafted onto the doorway of my heart,

Your spirit guards my soul, which You call Your home.

You, O G*d, are the sentinel of my eternity.

    The brilliance of Your love-

the sublime touch of Your power, all directed to any who would wish me harm. You, O G*d, never slumber,

    You take no rest inside the silver universe that is Your Being;

every word... every breath from Your mouth...

    each caress of Your arms-
