@DeedsResearcher Yes, the list IS nonsense and shame on you for taking it seriously. "Fan since the 50's"...yeah, probably the late 50's too, I'd venture a guess if I ask you about Dermie O'Connell, George Kaftan and Tony Lavelli you wouldn't have a clue other than what wikipedia will say about them. How about "Big" Ed Sadowski and Mel Riebe? How about the fight between Sadowski and Garfinkel, ever heard of that one?

Let the record show that Bill Russell won 11 rings in 13 years.Sam and KC Jones won ( I think) at least 8 each, while Sanders won 7 or 8. It's hard to recall ALL of them, but the Celtics DID win 8 world championships in a row, and the above players were the heart of many of those teams.
That's why I gave "thumbs down" to this video.

TOTAL BS! ANY video about "legends of the Boston Celtics" has GOT to include Bill Russell, Satch Sanders, Sam and KC Jones, Robert Parrish, JoJo White, Nate Archibald, Wayne Embry...do I notice something here? All of these greats are black, while ALL of those in the video are white.
You are a racial bigot. This list is pure nonsense. Yes, some of them belong here, but others do not. And for the record, I am white, and have been a Celtics fan since the 1950s.

@timdonahue48 Finally someone gets the joke without sounding like a 12 year old in the process.
Bill Russell was not mentioned in this video and he is the most inflluential Boston Celtic player ever! He played on 11 championship teams. For the life of me, what were you thinking. It is apparent that when you put together this video, it was racially induced! How can you call yourself a Boston Celtic fan. Give me a break!

@truckdriver1520 My only regret about this video was I left out some important Celtics such as Stojyko Vrancovic, Dave Popson and Kleggie Hermsen

Lavelli rings a bell. Kaftan I only vaguely recall. O'Connell I do not recall at all. So what? You started off listing some pretty good players...in their day. Would I call most of them "legends"? NO WAY! You mentioned Red, of course, who I prefer to call Arnold. I met him in his office after the 6th game of the 1966-67 season. Before the game, I interviewed several players for my high school newspaper. Several had their numbers retired by the Celtics: KC, Nelson, and Satch.
Grow up sonny.

@DeedsResearcher Some Celtics fan you are.....Dermie O'Connell, George Kaftan and Joe Mullaney...all Celtics led Holy Cro to the NCAA championship in 1947. Know who else was on that team, a you freshman named Bob Cousy. Also, Doggie Julian coached the team and later coached the Celt before Auerbach took over.
You really don't want to question my Celtics knowledge because chances are I'm more adept at it.

@KHayes666 Very doubtful, junior. Anyone could have looked up the names on any of a number of search engines. I chose not to do so. By the way, how many times have YOU been in the Celtics dressing room, interviewing the players? Probably a nice, ROUND number: ZERO! Kids like yourself think you know it all, but my guess is that what you know would echo inside a thimble.

@DeedsResearcher yes, YOU could have looked up the names but I provided information like the Garfinkel/Sadowski incident during the 1948 season that only a true Celtic fan would know. Tony Lavelli would play the accordion at halftime, and he once led a win over George Mikan and the Lakers that season. Name me anyone fm your precious dynasty years to the Lunchpail Gang of 2002-04 and I can tell you something no one else, not even you ,would know.
