A selection from my collection of vintage airline ads!

I had a heck of a time trying to decide which ones to upload; I went for a combination of "Eye appeal", & "Rarity".

As always, all ads have been scanned & restored to "Like new" conditon.

Enjoy. :-)

Be sure to check my channel for the BEST in VINTAGE & RARE airliner videos!

  • great snapshot...and love the music!!

  • Eric-

Glad you like the tune! That's "Nadia's Theme", which is my all time favourite song actually.

It was dedicated to Nadia Comăneci, who won the gold medal for gymnastics in the 1976 Olympics, and actually became a top 10 AM radio hit.

Most folks know it as the theme song to "The Young & The Restless". :-)

  • you obviously greatly enjoy aviation, so, what is your favorite airliner of all time?

    mine is the boeing stratocruiser

  • Stratocruiser is awesome...fave props are the CL-44, L-1649 Starliner, & Electra.

    Fave jets are the CV-990, DC-8-63, VC-10, & Caravelle.

  • It is great. I wish i could buy some of these posters. I am a great fan of post war airlines.!!! GOOD JOB !

  • God! What a treat! I'm an aircraft buff. When I was a kid, I'd flown in Dc3s, Vicker's Viking, Vickers Viscount, and Fokker Friendships. I'd even flown in BOAC's Comet 4s, Connies and Super Connies. All this was when aviation was fun....

  • I worked in the commercial airline industry for a long time beginning in April of 1971 (JAL at LAX) ~ great great planes from another time bring back great great memories from another time. Thanks for the post.

  • Beautifully done. It is appreciated. This is evidently quite special to you.
