Yes, it was Crisis Core that made the story great. Sure Final Fantasy VII had OK characters and great moments, but the story was nonsensical and terrible.

@MrSchuurmachine buy final fantasy 13 you wont regret it, old final fantasy fanboys just like to hate because they arent open minded, they just like to hide in their little final fantasy corner of games, this game is definitly worth it, final afntasy 8 is probably my favorite game ( ever) but that doesnt make this one a bad game, play it for yourself and decide instead of listening to ranting fanboys like me or TehZealSeal. go to Ign.com and look up a review =) you wont be dissapointed.
