What the hell is that? Glad I saw this before I made the mistake of walking into a Gino's. That is an abomination - an insult! How do they get away with it? How can the city of Philly allow them to dish out such utter crap?

@adelgado75 Start at City Hall, which is Market St and Broad. Take the Broad Street Subway ( the "orange line") from City Hall to Ellsworth-Federal Station, which is only about 3 stops. You want to take it south, or toward AT&T", the sports complex, NOT toward Fern Rock, which is North. From there, walk about 5-6 blocks east on Federal Street.

What is the best way to get there from market street? i live in nyc and like taking the bus down to Philadelphia so i can ride the trolleys.

If you want a GREAT cheesesteak, go to The White House Sub Shop in Atlantic City....they don't use the yellow cheese crap....they use REAL CHEESE. (Imagine that).
Philly cheese steaks can't even come close.....no matter what 'the hype'.
However, I must say that the owner of Geno's Steaks was a great American...he recently passed away, but was a true American, fighting for American rights.
