I love seeing Megan Follows as herself - she seems to laid back, calm/cool/collected, & *so* so intelligent & well-spoken. Love it! Thanks for sharing.
And thank *you* Miss Megan Follows for giving us all the character of Anne because I don't anyone could've done it better.
oh and, Hollywood, don't do some cheap remake of this! please! LEAVE IT ALONE. just sayin'... they've been making 1 too many remakes these days!

LOL, They are covered in their classy respectable clothing from that era, as Anne leaves on the train. Then the camera backs up and reveals scantilly clad camera men.

they should have done all the books... not just the first 3...

I'm so glad you put this up! It was a pleasure to revisit it again. I recorded this special, way back in the late 80's. At some point in the early days of the internet, I I very foolishly sent the video tape on a "round robin" allowing people to see it and record it. This was before youtube and streaming video! I never got it back. Seeing it again was a delightful surprise. Thank you!

again people listen to how they say her name its Meagan, not megan pronounced almost as mee-gin

Did I imagine it or did she pull a green shirt out of her pants near the end?

@lostindreams3 XD Makes me wonder if it was really warm out while they were shooting, which makes me feel very sorry for the actors in that Victorian clothing.

@llirra I don't think you could call this film a remake of the 1934 version, remakes are films that follow the original FILM, this film does not, it followed the BOOK, and it's a miniseries.
The 1934 film actually has very little to do with the actual book and it's dreadful.
There is a new film version of Mildred Pierce being made as a miniseries that follows the book, it is not being called a remake of the 1945 Joan Crawford film.
Terrible quality! Why does the image constantly trembling? I could hardly enjoy it! Please, do something to make it better!
