Wondering, what could be this communication on 13,3 mhz? I suspect the communication on 14,0 mhz to be just a morse code transmission. Receiver is intended for receiving AM modulated shortwave broadcasts...

  • I had remembered from somewhere that 13 mhz was indeed for aviation... TNX for explanation and 73 de ES5DWXL

  • Usually 13 Mhz is aviation bands on SSB. The lower 14 Mhz band is radio amateurs.

    There were about 3 senders on the 14Mhz band. One of them was sending: CQ CQ DE 9A2U 9A2U. Which means: All stations (CQ) this is (DE) 9A2U - the call sign for the sending station.
