Wondering, what could be this communication on 13,3 mhz? I suspect the communication on 14,0 mhz to be just a morse code transmission. Receiver is intended for receiving AM modulated shortwave broadcasts...
Usually 13 Mhz is aviation bands on SSB. The lower 14 Mhz band is radio amateurs.
There were about 3 senders on the 14Mhz band. One of them was sending: CQ CQ DE 9A2U 9A2U. Which means: All stations (CQ) this is (DE) 9A2U - the call sign for the sending station.
I had remembered from somewhere that 13 mhz was indeed for aviation... TNX for explanation and 73 de ES5DWXL
