Patrick Watson - Close to Paradise

I really wonder why Patrick Watson isn't more well known. Probably because of his unique style, but that's no excuse. His music is great, soothing, calm, and yet lively, and it's not without its share of messages.

They (because it's really a band!) to be known and recognized as an important part of Montreal's lesser known musical artists. Buy their albums, they're worth every single penny you'll dish out for them.

Close to Paradise is the first song on the similarly titled album, and it's one of my favourite tunes, ever.

If that was that weird ass backpack with the lights, he did that last week at the Montréal Jazz fest for the first time. And in a crowd of over 100 000 people, it was crazy.
