@nathanlurie I'm a pre-med looking at gastroenterology. During your undergraduate years in college, you will need two semesters each of English, mathematics, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and physics, in addition to a normal curriculum. Aim for a 3.5 or higher GPA. You will also need to take the MCAT and do a lot of other stuff, too, like volunteer and shadow physicians. Medical school is four years, residency is three years, and further specialization is two years. Good luck.

Can someone explain to me the steps I would have to take to become a gast. starting from after I get out of medical school?
And can someone tell me what types of classes I would have to take for this in college and possibly in medical school too?

Hey there, Just wanted to tell you not to stress yourself out. That is the worse thing you can do. I know that it is scary but it will be ok. Stress only makes things worse. Know that you r in the hands of professionals and they will take care of you. The field of Gastroenterology is improving w new techniques and technology every day. Hope you keep your head up and that all goes well
