I heard Morrison's Jig one day, and I knew I had to learn it on my new Lyon and Healy Ogden. I looked for at least an hour for some sort of sheet music online that could help. After a bunch of frusterating searching, I decided I'd go back to square one, and learn it by ear. I actually only learned about half the song, and then kind of did my own thing and ended it. It's not the complete jig, but at least part of it, all learned by ear, so it probably doesn't follow the traditional. But it's ok, I like making my own versions of traditional and classical songs. I only taught it to myself a couple days ago, so it's not 100% perfect. I got plenty of blisters practicing though. My biggest problem is my timing(still working on it.) So if you can forgive the couple mistakes, and my atrocious timing...I hope you will enjoy. I wanted to make a new video asap with my new harp. It is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the tone and volume of it(My camera does not do the actual sound justice...) But you can get the basic idea. I am planning on posting a lot more videos with my new harp soon...So keep your eye out! If you haven't subscribed, and you enjoy my videos, please subscribe today. Thankyou all my subscribers and youtubers out there for all the support and inspiration!

Sincerely, Natalie Grace

  • And wonderful playing, by the way. I love this song too :)

  • It's great. I read in your profile that you want a pedal harp in the future. I give you some advice: play celtic harp, there are planty of beautiful celtic harp builders and your are a real celtic harp player! Your new harp sounds great!

  • Your Minstrel sounds good, but the Lyon and Healy makes a difference! It's beautiful!

I may, in fact, be getting a Minstrel. Not bad, for a first harp!
