  • Ok first of all. The tacoma is the best truck in its class. the tundra is all the truck anyone would need and it got chevy and ford scared and sent them back to the drawing boards. And second of all, why the hell are u blaming foreign companies for the fall of gm. Its gm's fault for focusing on trucks only and putting out below average quality products for years. Go bitch at Gm for it. toyota trucks and cars are mostly built in american profits goes to american and japan.

  • idiots. GM is falling apart because of bad mngmnt. toyota caters to peoples needs and wants better than the big 3 that's why they're still thriving. by the way if you own a so called american made car look under the hood, most parts were not made in the good ole usa. plus GM was in cahoots with toyota. example: pontiac vibe. look at the driveline its all from toyota. GM gets alot of parts from toyota. you want to be mad be mad at the big 3. they get parts from all sorts of forgein auto makers.

  • I remember that I was there when my uncle was shooting that and I remember him calling us at 6:00 from a gas station to come pick him up

  • @taitai907 Right, the current Tacoma and 4runner are the same and run on a brand new frame. Did not know that the hilux runs a different ladder frame which according to Toyota was just the old frame refreshed. Makes sense. Doesn't mean it's stronger though.

  • @dukviper90 The Hilux and 4Runner used to run on the same platform. When the Tacoma was released, the 4Runner switched to its platform. It's a common misconception that the Tacoma and the Hilux have the same frame. That's not true. The Hilux's frame is significantly more durable as well as the suspension. The Tacoma's frame is geared for more comfort and convenience.

  • @taitai907 The hilux, 4runner, tacoma all run on the same platform so you're not missing anything except for the us not offering a Diesel.

  • @dukviper90 I'd wish, though... They killed it off in 1995. :(

  • @taitai907 Not in America.

  • @dukviper90 Tacoma's not the best in class, the Hilux is.

  • Thundra 80% all made in US , ihope u help them become the Nr1.

-It sure does work to giwe a helping hand and bring some great ides in 2 the world !

  • The tundra didn't save you, the safety measures did as of any good car. it just happens to be that the mass of it, greater that regular cars, may have added to the cushioning of your impact .

  • @dukviper90 shit dude you are 110% right!! thank you for dropping some truth and knowledge
