seeing the y button show "frayed cable", reminded me of gears 1, when you are looking for a way out, and the y button literally says "A Way Out"

The beta right now is only Team Deathmatch. They (Epic) are going to gradually introduce the other gametypes.
The reason you see CTF and KOTH videos on YouTube is because before the beta went public to Bulletstorm people (April 18th), they had a more restrictive beta (friends, family, lucky schmucks like me who got a code somehow). When the beta was in that phase, you could play on all 4 maps and all 3 gametypes.
