Well, they have a good salary and benefits, and some stability, they have probably some good arguments, but their interests doesnt mach with the city interest,  Miller have to be removed from his office, a good mayor would declare emergency, and make this never happen again.

People gonna start geting sick. Vancouver had a garbage strike years back. It became so nasty that at the end they favor the garbage workers. It will affect health, tourism, reputation of the city. Give garbage workers what;s fair.

nyc has the taylor law and their sanitation dept cannot strike they went 3 years without a contract and i wouldn't call garbage men lazy when some of them pick up 20 tons of garbage a day

It's not Miller's fault. It's the Union bosses...I agree that the hard working folks would rather be working, but it's time for the Unions to go in my opinion. Peace.
