Summary: Charity is conflicted when Debbie gets upset about Cain, worrying that Sarah might lose her grandfather. At the same time, John explains that Cain's surgery went well but it's a waiting game as he's not awake yet. Later, Chas is worried when Aaron returns to the village and heads straight to see Adam. Aaron is furious that John punched Cain and Adam has to stop him from going for John. Chas is anxious that Aaron is getting himself wound up over who attacked Cain.

With concerns about his future, John meets with Declan and as he struggles to swallow his pride, tells him that he wants him to make an offer for buying back the farm. However, John is humiliated when Declan refuses.

Meanwhile, Sean steals Ruby's car to take Belle to see the baby in hospital. Belle manages to see the baby and takes a quick photo before they make a run for it when the midwife arrives. However, Debbie sees them as they leave. Later, Sean is busted by Ruby, but when the pair strike a deal it could be a breakthrough for their relationship.

Elsewhere, Laurel is unenthusiastic when Ashley tells her that Jude will conduct their vow renewal.

Declan has a right to be a dick, he doesn't owe that bastarding family anything. He put up with a lot from his wife, her cheating, her drinking, her revolting behaviour. And stuck by her, until he could take no more. while she was screwing John's son. and his best mate, and whoever else. John is a good man, but his family suck. why should Declan do anything to help them out. If he had the power I'd cheer him on in kicking them off of his property.

They are a pile of bastards. I pity John.

Yeh it's weird. Also Bell is Sarah's great aunt. She was a great aunt before she was ten.

My great aunt is 85 years old. she must have been about 60 when I was born.

does no-one think declan could have done this? it would kind of make sense seeing though he's angry about mia's death and could be doing it to frame john and hurt the bartons. Amy is my other suspect.
