Sorry to get my dander up so but I'm tired of this GREAT accent being corrupted and poorly mimicked. Do people sound idiotic in "Southie"? Yes. But you can have a Boston accent and not sound like you're from Brooklyn.

I think the middle American accent is like fingernails on a blackboard. The REAL Bostonian accent is closer to indigenous English than any other in this country.

Haha. No really I am from Boston so I know what the real accent sounds like. But Josh is not and so he does sound like a moron, we know- that was the point. But thanks for pointing it out.
