  • In case you guys didnt know. Christianity originated in the same place all Islam, so saying that the movie took place in an Islamic setting proves nothing because it is the same as a christian setting. Also it is quite obviously a bible, citing the fact that they announce that it is a king james version. I kept hearing frames are not wasted, so why ignore the frames that point out it is christian. I doubt they did it because of "the Jews". Wow.

  • ASA The Imam's reflection is impressive. What I noticed in the 'End', after Eli has conveyed the Book to the scribe. As the Scribe adds the Book to the other Book's on the shelf, I see 2 Quran's, If not several, among the other 'divinely' inspired Books!

As the Imam pointed out , frames are NOT wasted and is the platform to convey a primary message or premise.

  • @ytharper66, wow that was pretty obvious, but the premise of the movie is more in tune with the Islamic teachings, I have been a Christian and now a Muslim, 30% of Muslims acheive what Eli did in this movie, thats why at the end we got kind excited because it is more common to see a Muslim memorize a Quran than a Christian memorize the entire Bible. But because the Jews hate is Islam they substituted the Quran with the Bible!

  • This is hilarious... claiming that Eli was carrying the Koran and not the Bible based on the fact that he "looked like a Muslim" is a pretty far stretch, especially when the Book was clearly defined as the Bible and the writer clearly states it was the Bible. What a crock.
