UPDATE: REDLINE's....SOLD! BOTH of them are gone!
Carbon Huffy is NOT FOR SALE!
These are some of my BMX bikes, they are older and would be considered Mid-School, nevertheless...they'll still hang well with today's bikes, giving them a good run for their money! Two sweet Redline's and my Huffy Carbon Fiber. Some of you may have noticed I have many bike video's, True...I restore bikes as kinda a side hobby, mostly vintage Schwinn's, many of which come and go. BUT these are MY bikes, as in...I built them for myself. So deciding to part ways with the Redline's is going to hurt a bit, especially the aluminum one(which was a labor of love to refinish).
UPDATE:
The Chrome Redline was sold almost immediately after I shared this video.
The Silver Redline Now sold recently. Before the sale was made the crank arms were refinished in Black lacquer with new decals. The Answer Bars were sold off separately, The bike went out with 2-piece factory Redline bars that were freshly refinished in black lacquer as well. The wheels on the bike were also swapped to different set, they were some older mid-school Redline hoops with Suzue sealed hubs. Still not the "correct" or "factory" wheels that would have came on the bike, but, they are a little more properly branded to feel at home on there than the GT(hub) / Haro(Fusion Hoop) wheels pictured in this film.
The Huffy is not for sale, there have been some upgrades underway. Since The filming of this video, the Huffy has been detailed(I'll have to post an update video sometime), an that Technique now glistens like a mirror, which took considerable time to polish from the dirty crank you see here.
How much did you sell the silver one for? Im about to buy one from a kid for $150, dont know if im rippin him off or rippin my self off

@ManUnited10r I sold the aluminum one for $300. Every bike's a different case, but that's sounds fair, especially if it's an aluminum PRO XL size. look at the completed listing on ebay, see what something similar has actually sold for, that will give a ballpark comparison to better your decision. Good Luck, -M

does cutting your bars take value off your bike?
yamaha04rider 6 months ago
@yamaha04rider In the long run, yes.
But, it is more important now for your bike to fit you the way find it most comfortable. Having your bike dialed in just the way YOU like it is critical to achieving your maximum riding potential. Now, I'm not saying everyone go chop your bars...I'm just saying comfort to each one's riding style is probably more important than keep your bike in mint condition for the 10+ years it will take to start seeing stuff like that really effect resale heavily.

@yamaha04rider And, if you're gonna trim em'...I'd recommend a pipe cutter vs. a hack-saw.
Remember ...you can always cut off more, but you can't add length back on. Take off a little at first, then if you need more off after a road test, then do so, maybe like a half-inch at a time. Take your time, make sure to trim both side evenly. Use a tape measure, don't eyeball it!

@phsycopathicraps11 Both Redline's I sold a while ago. I got my $300 plus S&H on the aluminum, and $260 plus S&H on the Cro-moly.
The Huffy's NOT FOR SALE, I did turn down an offer on the Huffy for $1500 shipped complete! Yes, That's right $1,500(Fifteen-Hundred) and I said NO! Those of you who belong to the BMXmuseum know the monocqueman for the best BMX's in the world, and therefore know his offer on the Huffy was very serious!
