Chinese police brutality is continuing to make headlines with their deadly crackdown on ethnic minorities living in China, as well as Tibet butut here's a developing story here at home in the United States that has received little to no press.

Chinese Police are currently being in trained in firearms and law enforcement tactics in Alvin and League City just outside of Houston, TX.

The 'come and take' it state is quickly becoming the Chinese police academy state. Closely resembling a student exchange program, LAW enforcement agencies in CHINA and the US are teaming up to share information and merge tactics on how to best control their populations.

Out of 10,000 applicants, only handfuls were chosen for this special international assignment.

In addition, a Chinese delegation recently visited Robstown, Texas for the second time. They have interests in a large investment in the town and are currently in talks with the city council. Both cities are near the coast.

This is not a new development. The program began almost exactly 2 years ago. Houston area police departments have already been hosting Chinese police officers for some time including police from Poland.

Houston Texas is now using Unmanned Aerial Drones (UAVs) , some featuring the ability to fire Tasers.

Last year in Houston, a story about police brutality of a Chinese diplomat made the news . However, an interesting revelation was found in the report. The Diplomat was driving without plates , and upon being arrested, China issued a reminder to Houston Police that their diplomats have diplomatic immunity which raises more questions as to what he was doing and how many diplomats are in the US or expected to arrive.

League City Police Chief Michael Jez traveled to china last year to study tactics from the Chinese National Police. He hopes the international exchange will help his officers see this event by what he calls the 'proper context by understanding that we live in a global world.

This further illustrates the point that we are witnesses merging police tactics between China and the United States in an increasingly globalized world where national sovereignty and due process is quickly becoming an endangered idea.
