1950s and 60s: Leonard Kleinrock ("father of the internet") talks about the conditions that led to the creation of the internet. Kleinrock is a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at the University of California at Los Angeles. He developed the mathematical theory of packet networks in the 1960-62 period.
