  • wow ..the water is so green; is that why its called greenland?

  • The common name of the shark is associated with Greenland because it used to be intensely hunted there. The water is green because of algae. These sharks were filmed in the St. Lawrence Estuary (Quebec, Canada) in the middle of summer.

  • I thought that Greenland Sharks lived in Greenland and lived really deep in the cold waters. How far did you have to go to see this creature?
