Zhuhai (珠海) is a prefecture-level city on the southern coast of Guangdong province in the People's Republic of China. Located in the Pearl River Delta, Zhuhai borders Jiangmen to the northwest, Zhongshan to the north, and Macau to the south. Zhuhai was one of the original Special Economic Zones established in the 1980s. Zhuhai is also one of China's premier tourist destinations, being called the Chinese Riviera.

Zhuhai's attractive environment and surrounding landscapes help its reputation within China as a garden city and its quality of life. In 2002, the city attracted 1.3 million international tourists and 3.64 million domestic tourists. Following Guangzhou and Shenzhen in Guangdong province, Zhuhai has the largest amount of foreign tourism, which amounted to US$0.5 billion in 2002.
Realizing the substantial benefits brought by tourism, the local government is constantly improving the existing tourist spots and exploring new tourist resources. The local government is developing new tourist spots such as Hengqin (橫琴島), Dong'ao (东澳), Hebao (荷包), Qi'ao (淇澳島) and Yeli (野狸).

珠海市是珠江三角洲南端的一个重要城市，位于广东省珠江口的西南部，地理坐标处于北纬21° 48′～22°27′、东经113°03′～114°19′之间。东与香港隔海相望，南与澳门相连，西邻新会、台山市，北与中山市接壤。珠海是中国的五个经济特区之一。珠海市陆地面积有1701平方千米，人口149.12万人（2009年统计），是广东省人口规模最小的城市。珠海的海岸线长604公里，有大小岛屿146个，故有百岛之市的美誉。在珠江口辽阔的水域上，大大小小的岛屿星罗棋布，计有146个，其中大部分集中于东部海域的万山群岛。
珠海市气候宜人，冬夏季风交替明显，终年气温较高，偶有阵寒，年、日温差小，属南亚热带与热带过渡型海洋性气候。 全市太阳能丰富，热量充足，年均日照时数为1991.8小时， 太阳幅射年总量为4651.6兆焦／平方米。全市气温比邻近珠江三角洲各县市都高，年平均气温为22.4℃，大部分地区全年无霜冻，是该省南亚热带地区热量最丰富的地区之一。
珠海自然环境优美，山清水秀，海域广阔，有一百多个海岛，素有百岛之市美称。城市规划和建设独具匠心，突出旅游意识，自然和谐，优雅别致，极富海滨花园情调和现代气息。1991年，珠海以整体城市形象为景观被国家旅游局评为中国旅游胜地四十佳之一。
珠海有各类旅游饭店300余家，年接待能力达700万人次，其中星级酒店20多家。酒店建设多以园林别墅为设计主题，依山傍水，构成了一道独特的城市风景线。还建有各类会议中心、展览馆10多个，可举办各种国际性会议及各类博览会、交易会等。
在珠海，每两年举办一次国际航空航天博览会和珠海电影节，两大盛事在国内外影响极大。珠海还建有国际赛车场，每年都有国际性的汽车赛事举办，对广大汽车运动爱好者具有极大的吸引力。
