  • Do the floats have a rudder servo?

  • You have two options with the Great Planes floats. You can a cable from your rudder down to the float rudder, or you can install a servo into the float (that's what I did).

  • do you like flying it on floats?

  • Even though this aircraft is very good on wheels, I have more fun with it on floats. I'm using the Great Planes floats (which were made for their Cub) with my own struts. I also have a set of skiis for this plane.

  • What engine are you running?

  • It's a Thunder Tiger Pro 46.

  • They made a big difference. I had to add the dorsal fin at the back because it became unstable in yaw. I originally had the floats parrallel with the fuse but wound up raising the nose of the floats with respect to the fuselage. I balanced the aircraft by placing the weight on the nose of the floats. That way i don't have to rebalance when I change to wheels or skiis.

  • I like the Beaver RC personally.
