I wish I saw this vid before I let loos on my 4 month old woman standard. All went smooth until I got to the nether region!! The pooch was relaxed on the floor and I started cleaning things up with #10 blade. Well, when she stood up I noticed my mistake. I shaved all the fur from the inside of her thighs!!! So from the back she looks like she has bin riding a horse to long and has no fir left between her rear legs. OOPS!!! I am so glad dogs don't look at them selves in the mirror. Cheers.

that is not a proper breed trim , its a pet trim with poms ! you can use rose water to cool any clipper rash or witch hazel but that can dry the skin out .

lol she wasnt moving too fast and she didnt take too much off of the dogs tail shes doing a proper breed cut.
although I do think the dog should most definitely be leaded to something but Im sure its your dog at the end of they day in your private salon and you know your pet better than anyone else...........i'd just recommend having the grooming lead around their neck for educational videos...so you dont get some poor new groomer sued lol

You move WAY too fast. You can't even see what you are shaving.

do you recommend using some after shave product to prevent irritation? and if so what products and any products for grooming a poodle.?

Good videos but you shaved way too much off of the dogs tail. That dogs tail looks like it is docked too short so you need to shave less of it off so that he can have a full pom pom.
