  • @MrBratnip I really like Volkswagens too, great styling, little things that other cars don't have - but man, everyone I've known who has owned one has scared me away from them. I really want the passat wagon for my wife's next car (looks great, great mileage, great drive), but VWs are so hit or miss on strange things like electrical problems and flywheels that I cannot justify getting one. I'm glad yours have not been lemons.

  • @edyken77

I'm a Volkswagon owner.I have a 2011 golf wagon diesel and a 2008 rabbit. Both have been great cars! I've owned many differend brands and had a hard choice deciding on vehicles in the last few years but glad i made volkswagon my choice. Maintenance is a little more than some cars but i've had zero problems. I know honda makes a good car. At one point I owned a Civic..The main thing I didnt like about the Fit is that it's basical a city car- lousy on the highway.

  • @MrBratnip volkswagens are nice to try, but owning one is expensive. Everything from oil changes to regular maintenance is really expensive, and all that great german engineering does not hold up very well. How many horror stories have I read about how things were going wrong the day someone drove their brand new VW off the lot?

  • ugly

  • @USCUSCTrojan that's kinda cool....

  • try a volkswagon and you'll never buy one.

  • blahh i hate that icy blue color >:(

  • @577666 Oh... so infact he no get point across. Fair enough. :D Whatchu think about Fit?

  • @EntinludeX The point is, he does not give details, just talks around.

  • @577666 It no he fault. He may no have personality, but he get point across.

  • @USCUSCTrojan LOL great post! haha

  • @ObservationaLee - ooohh, that got you didn't it! Actually I did not get D grades, I have a degree, five cars and seven houses +++. One of the cars is a Jazz with leather seats and other luxury additions but not go-faster-stripes and silly sound systems. We only use it for shopping though.

  • @577666 and you must be one of them yt warriors who can't afford the stuff you see in videos so you have to denigrate those who can. Stick to the books and maybe if you get your grades above D next term, your daddy might buy you a 2nd hand Chrysler Newport...

  • @ObservationaLee You are one of those irritating noisy people who drive with dreadful sound coming from their car. I'll bet you bought a second-hand car and tried to 'sport it up' like so many of the mindless followers. It is laughable to see the big exhausts. Why on earth did you put 17 inch wheels on?

  • it is overpriced in malaysia :(

  • I own one in Thailand...it was nice as I bought it but soo much better after I dropped it 2 inches with apex springs, put 17 inch Lenso rims with Toyo 245's put a custom cold air intake and 2.5" cat back exhaust, filled the interior with after market sound...now, it is really fun to drive!!

  • I love my Fit! Fun..fun fun to drive! And great MPG!

  • Wonderful car for the money. For a car this size, it has an amazing amount of cargo room, gas mileage is great and the visibility from the over sized windows is better then most larger cars. The only con I think of is that it's noisy. Otherwise I'm very pleased.

  • I really liked this car until I went to a Fit website where fans and owners wrote a thread about things they didn't like about it. It was enough for me to loose interest in getting one. Here are a few things they didn't like: The carpet is garbage, no oil gauge, motor too weak, paint chips way too easily, crummy stereo, front seats have little lumbar support and don't adjust, too much road noise, body dents too easily, less than stellar gas milage, petals in awkward position, costs too much, ..

  • Buying one in a couple months, just saving a bit more for the down payment. So Far have 5K, want to put down 7k or more. But I have test driven, researched, and reviewed nearly every car from every make that is similar to this, even some that are more expensive (by about 5k or more) and they have much WORSE reputations than the Fit. It really is the best car on the road.

My advise to perspective buyers: if you want a low-maintenance car with good mpg thats fun, The Fit Is Go!

  • @noufri7 yes, easily.
