I went to a local pond and put some scum on a slide. Amongst many other things, one can see amazing single-celled Amoebas crawling (rather quickly) around in some odd shapes. In this video, two Amoebas meet and part ways, then one Amoeba 'notices' another small aquatic organism, called Chilomonas, that got stuck to the slide and eats it via a process called phagocytosis. Other Chilomonae can be seen swimming around freely. The scale bar is 100um. The video was taken using standard bright-field microscopy.
